How I Know Where I’m Meant To Be
Just as my physical injuries demanded healing, my mental health injuries forced me into multiple layers of recovery. I was diagnosed with chronic anxiety, depression, an adjustment disorder and PTSD (a chronic overachiever, even in this aspect of my life!). But at the same time, this is when I truly felt seen. This dark period forced me to dive deep into my past and integrate childhood trauma.
Before the accident, I’d never considered counselling or therapy. I loved working 50- to 70-hour work weeks and was determined to climb the corporate ladder. I subscribed to many lines of ambitious thinking that ultimately was a cover-up for… well, pain.
Now I was battling the insurance company while trying to recover physically and mentally. My body was conveying so much, but I struggled to listen. When traditional therapy didn’t feel helpful, I turned to energy work and intuitive spiritual guidance.
Sometimes we can’t see that clarity already exists within us.
With some guidance and a dash of courage and magic, our perceived problems become tremendous opportunities for transformation.
It wasn't until I partnered with my Energy Coach that I began decoding my emotional landscape and connecting with my authentic self.
I delved deeply into the connections between my abandonment wounds and my tendency to people-please. I explored how my lack of boundaries masked my insecurities and how my inner critic ruled my psyche. Understanding the impact of all these factors on how I relate to myself and others, I came to realize that I have everything I need within me to find fulfillment and unconditional love.
TLDR; I didn’t go back to my job in the corporate world, and over time, I gradually shaped my coaching business into what it is today - a fulfilling adventure where I get to partner with others to find their life’s purpose.
